| Married couples suites |
Married couples are welcome, we will do our best to provide you with adjoining rooms, however in the case this is not possible our rooms are big enough for a double. However due to licensing restrictions a married couple would need to pay for two rooms and use the second room as an additional living area. |

| May I drink alchohol? |
Yes. We keep our residents alcohol in our medication room fridge. We require a doctor's letter stating that it is safe for you to be served alcohol, to avoid any medical complications. Alcohol is not included in the monthly fee. |
| May I smoke? |
We are a non-smoking facility. |
| Do I need to move to a different facility if I become ill? |
No. We are licensed to care for our residents until the end of their lifetime. However, if we feel that we cannot provide the best care possible for that resident or ensure the residents comfort at all times, we do reserve the right to transfer a resident to a more appropriate facility. This would be preceded by extensive planning with all medical health professionals involved in the clients care, the resident themselves, and their families or representatives. |

We have a large multi-purpose room, that can be used by residents and their visitors. |
Gardens

We are in the process of re-landscaping our garden. We wish to make it a peaceful oasis, where residents and their visitors can enjoy each others company. Our yard is completely fenced for resident's safety, and allows for clients to grow their own small garden. |
| Outings / Transport |
Prairie Valley Lodge arranges out-trips regularly, sometimes there may be a small charge for these depending on the activity. Transport can be arranged for personal appointments etc. If a care aid is required to accompany and attend an appointment, it will be necessary to make a charge for this service. |
