Prairie Valley Lodge - Dining Room ADMISSION - We make it our job to ensure that your admission is as easy as possible. We liase with your relatives and your health care team, to ensure that we can meet all your personal care requirements, before we agree to an admission date.  We organize your medications with our pharmacist so that you can rest assured that all your medications will be at the facility when you arrive.

For the first few days after your arrival you will slowly become acquainted with the new environment and the new faces of other residents and staff.  You will have the opportunity to let us know of your likes and dislikes, and your preferences.

You will be invited to read our policies and procedures, where you can learn that there is a resident’s bill of rights, a complaints procedure, and a smoking policy, along with other important information. We will be chatting with you, answering your questions, and asking you twice as many, so that we can learn about you, and start to develop an individual care plan that best meets your needs.

We make this a family friendly home, so you are free to enjoy your visitors be they young or old, two footed or four footed. The children of staff members often visit.
