You may be wondering how we are all doing during this unusual period of time.
We locked our doors on Thursday March 11th, when we saw the COVID 19 virus heading in our direction. So far we are all safe, and remaining in good health and spirits.
The Summerland community, as always, is united, strong and innovative.
We have hearts hung in our windows to let the community know we are all in this together.
We colour silly faces and hang them in our window for children’s community scavenger hunts. We find painted rocks, with inspirational messages on our walks, and we receive beautiful fresh flowers and cupcakes from friends and neighbor's.
This afternoon we are playing scrabble while enjoying our afternoon tea and those delicious cupcakes.
