Spring is here. And life is very quiet in isolation.
We can see the daffodils pushing up through the warm soil, and the birds are busy in the garden. The sun streams into the great room through our big windows and makes us feel very much alive.
A young lady came to The Lodge with her guitar and stood in the driveway and sang some beautiful songs for us.
A tiny little boy and his Mama made some delicious home made Easter sugar cookies and delivered them to us (from a distance.)
We enjoyed a Good Friday High Tea, which included smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwiches and a home made Chocolate Buttermilk Easter cake decorated with Malteser bunnies.
We are all remaining happy, positive, and well, and feel extremely supported within our community.
We wish all our family, our friends, our neighbor’s and community a very Happy Easter.
Meal times are slightly more challenging during these days. We can sit no more than two people together. Still some smiles though.
